Hallmark Bespoke Decorating was engaged to carry out sensitive interior remediation and redecoration within a Grade II listed property in Surrey, addressing historic movement and preparing substrates for long-lasting, breathable finishes.

Our Approach

  • Ceiling Stabilisation
    • Hairline and structural cracks taped and jointed to prevent re-cracking.
    • Toupret Flexible Filler applied to ceiling lines for a smooth, resilient transition.
  • Lime Wall Repairs
    • Localised defects to lime plaster repaired with Toupret TX110, achieving a stable, sympathetic substrate ready for decoration.
  • Breathable Wall & Ceiling Finish
    • Walls and ceilings coated with a breathable paint system to support vapour permeability appropriate for heritage substrates.
  • Joinery Finishing
    • All interior woodwork prepared and finished with Johnstone’s Aqua Satin, delivering a durable, low-odour, water-based satin sheen.
